Small, sharp and impossible to miss in a busy arrivals hall. Tina is 158 cm, athletic, and carries a confidence that adds several inches, long espresso brown hair swinging behind her and brown eyes that smile first. She designs half her own clothes, or at least alters them: a tailored jumpsuit, a navy trench with new buttons, trainers or heels depending on the plan. Mid twenties, living in Covent Garden, warm and easygoing from the very first hello.
Confidence and warmth arrive together with Tina, and nothing about her is complicated. She loves fashion design, sketches constantly and can tell you how a jacket should have been cut. Craft cocktails are her evening study, record collecting her weekend habit; she spends Saturday mornings in the record shops of Soho and comes out with more than she meant to buy. Her English is warm and easy, with a laugh that puts tired travellers at ease within the first minute of meeting her.
For Heathrow she likes to be ready at your hotel shortly after you clear the arrivals hall at Terminal 2, the Queen's Terminal, then settle into an evening at an airport hotel on the Bath Road. She takes stock of the room, adjusts the lighting, and orders a drink from the bar with a precise note about the garnish. How a night with Tina unfolds
Tina's Heathrow evening starts with a quick style audit, entirely affectionate. She will tell you the jacket you flew in works and the tie can go. Then drinks, and she treats the hotel bar menu as a starting point rather than a rule, asking for a twist here and a different garnish there. Dinner is easy and chatty, full of questions about the city you just left and what music they play there.
Upstairs she connects her phone to the speaker and plays three records she found last Saturday, explaining why each one made the cut. The evening stays relaxed, warm and a little stylish. When she heads home, she leaves a handwritten list of three albums for your flight on the hotel notepad, signed with a small star.

A soul album with a coffee ring on the sleeve and not a scratch on the vinyl. Somebody loved it, used it as a coaster, and never played it. Lucky me.
Name a spirit, a mood and one thing you dislike. A good bartender does the rest. Never go off menu at a packed bar, though.

Heathrow evenings with Tina are arranged ahead, with the three hour minimum covering her journey and the price confirmed in full first. In central London she is usually free in the evenings.
Hotel and residence visits are held with 25 percent up front, paid by bank transfer; overnights and travel are held with 50 percent. Zones 1 and 2 travel is already in the figure.
